Thermo-Roller Corp., New York, NY 1930's Vintage "Quack Medicine" Massage roller that does heat up when plugged in.
**There is no on/off switch - it is On when plugged in**. Took a few minutes and got quite warm for limited testing.
Marked on handle ring as Model R, 115 v- 1 Amp.
Black rubber roller is approx. 2 1/2" diameter, ribbed, has some dents from previous storage and the rubber is age cracked.
There are 4" Bakelite green/yellow handles on each end that spin and are in good condition.
The overall length of massage roller is 19 1/2", 21" with the metal coil around plug.
The power plug is approx. 7 1/2 feet.
The original box has damage & storage wear.
Roller is approx. 2 1/2 pounds.
